Things happening at Dexter’s playground

dexterA local resident has got in touch to say that Dexter’s playground, which backs onto our grid of streets from Railton Rd,  is back under Lambeth control and is soon to open supervised play sessions once a week and then full time in the holidays. They are planning an open day soon. Lambeth are hoping that it will transfer to a new provider – might be an ideal candidate for a community co-operative. If anyone is interested in getting involved, there is a meeting at 6pm tomorrow, 14th May at Max Roach adventure playground. This is a great opportunity for individuals or groups who want to get more involved in youth provision locally
To find out more about what’s happening you can contact Lambeth’s youth coop on  020 926 0136, email at  coopyouthandplay@lambeth.gov.uk, follow on twitter @YoungLambeth – or just come to the meeting.
Effrablog says it cant wait to have a go on that large wooden climbing thing. Here’s more about who built it.
