What have you found up at Brockwell Park this weekend? Do you want to share the best bits with us.
I found tea towels of Brockwell Park with a tree trail to discover only £10 ideal presents and useful too, on Brockwell park bpmac stall, Herne Hill entrance side of park.
Also cushions/ tea towels with OS details of our streets at another stall by music stage . A bit obsessed with house furnishings and domestic bliss, you may say, but I also saw Jermaine Jackman singing on same stage as Jocelyn Brown with War Horse Joey animatronics and puppeteers earlier in the main arena.
All for Free
On Sunday 1.e.today 20th July from 1.30-7pm more music plus every worthwhile charity to visit and your chance to add your views to the Grand Brixton master plan on Future brixton stall.
It was a great turnout on the 29th June. We had a BBQ thanks to Sylvain, egg & spoon races, football, skateboarding, face painting, cycling, and sketches from Lamonte (Bling Ya Bike)
All in all a great afternoon.
Next dates are: 27th July, 31st. August and 28th September. Hope to you and your kids there.
Firstly, a friend of mine is looking for a room to rent locally. Please get in touch with me if you have space. Thanks email:firstname.lastname@example.org and i’ll forward to a local neighbour, Lucy.
Secondly, please come to a party I’m co-hosting on Friday 4 July (this week) at the Dogstar to raise money for Shelter. It starts at 8pm and begins in a nice leisurely fashion in the VIP room on the top floor where there are leather sofas and a bar. There will be dancing too, with an array of DJs and music such as 80s, Soul, Disco, Rare Grooves and Reggae. We’re also extending the party to the first floor for funky house tunes once the VIP room on the top floor fills up. It finishes at 3am so plenty of time to come down when you’re ready. Invite your friends too – all welcome!
