Coldharbour Community First has for two years given out grants to community projects in Coldharbour Ward, as part of the Community First programme. There is a final round of funding before this initiative closes in March 2015.

Amounts groups may apply for are between £250-£2500.  In the 2013/14 funding round we received 16 applications of which 10 received funding. The average award was £848.80. Projects ranged from jewellery workshops to bike repair, a one-act play festival to computer coding. Further details are here: http://coldharbourcommunityfirst.wordpress.com/projects-funded/

For the final round we have a total allocation of £12,500.

Projects must be completed by the end of February 2015 and monitoring forms submitted to the Community Development Foundation by the 31st March 2015.

Details of how to apply are here: http://coldharbourcommunityfirst.wordpress.com/how-to-apply/
