JERRY DAMMERS (The Specials), WILL BANKHEAD and CHIEF COMMANDER YAAAAAABA’s 2014 Christmas Extravaganzaaaa!

FRIDAY 19th DECEMBER

@ EFFRA SOCIAL, Brixtown Central

Be marvellous to see you all for a pre-sprout Crimbo flail about…

Oh, and while you’re flailing about you can bung a TENNER into the coffers of the fantastic Brixton boys  ESHA sports club.

<Terry Wogan voiceover> Because of your super generous donations, last year we made an incredible £3000 from the inaugural ESHA gig. The cash went directly to the club and has since funded, amongst kit, footballs etc, the subs and registration costs for a number of local lads who otherwise wouldn’t be able to play for the club. Bring it on again this year people!<end of Terry Wogan voiceover>

Come and have fun and do good!

Building Communities in Coldharbour London Community Foundation

We are very excited to have been shortlisted for a Directory of Social Change Award for our Building Communities in Coldharbour initiative!

Building Communities in Coldharbour has worked with the residents living in and around Loughborough Junction for the last three years. The project gives local people and groups a chance to access the money and support they need to get their ideas for community schemes off the ground. In addition to education and training programmes, the project has also funded over 20 activities designed and led by local residents, including art classes, money advice sessions and a scented garden.

The project has been selected as one of the 3 final nominees for the “Great Giving Funder’s Award” which now goes to a public vote – you have until 9am on Monday 24th November to cast your vote!

Click here to vote and read more about the project.

Please vote for us!

Every vote will count so please tell your friends and family too! Building Communities in Coldharbour is a community-led initiative and we’d love to recognise the fantastic contributions of everyone that has been involved in the initiative to date and celebrate the difference the project is making to the local community.

Thank you!
