Carnegie Occupation residents represent their community views?

Marches, vigils, lobbying by Lambeth residents and local celebrities, have tried to confront Lambeth Council on budget decisions which affect us all. It is  an ongoing situation and is meant to show that culture is valid for everyone and a means of supporting  the vulnerable and their families/carers, but doesn’t mean the dumbing down of services.

In Brixton yesterday Friends of a Tate Library Brixton worked with their library and local groups organised by Friends of Windrush Square to put on a wonderful : ‘ Community Day’ where local author  and library supporter Ravinder Randhawa read from her new novel: ‘Coral Strand’ in Brixton LibraryRavinder Randhawa reading

while outside other local groups and services performed, demonstrated techniques in Qi Gong, Boxing and music, Also inclusive Choir Certitude and Joy of Sound with accompaniment from Happy Drums performed their songs.
