Kellett Road Street party Sat.June 18th2016

(PRE- Rio Olympics theme) We’ve got almost exactly a month to go until the
street party and lots going on!
Effra street party flyer
I’ll give a short update below for next planning session Tuesday 31st May at 6.30pm?
We’re working on getting a second batch of flyers and posters printed
shortly – ORIGINAL ABOVE nb. email is kellett2012@hotmail.co.uk
The council have suggested we apply for a Temporary Event Notice, so
I’ll do one. It costs £21 and seems necessary to avoid hassle.
We have tables from the Brixton Community Base  Centre on Talma Rd, and hopefully chairs
Katie has arranged for Ruby Rhymes (a lady who does fun kids’ music)
to come for a session near the start at 2ish
The bouncy castle is ordered – provisional cost £120
DJ is booked and is looking to arrange a bicycle-powered bass

Things still on to-do list are to order flag bunting, get face
painting materials, tablecloths etc, and sort out the bouncy castle

I’ve probably missed out some things in the list above so please add
to it if you have any updates.

Thanks all, and as usual, please spread the word and get anyone else
involved who can help us! And let us know if you can make the 31st.
