Community Connector training
A new round of Community Connector training will start soon: Applicants must attend all four sessions on 17th May, 1st and 2nd June and 27th June 9.30am – 3pm at a variety of settings around the borough.

NEXTDOOR is proving useful to let residents know of Forums etc. Lambeth Air Quality Forum is operating with Lambeth Street Champions and local residents involvement.
Friends of Lambeth Libraries, (FoLL) and Parks Forums also meet with the council to improve the quality of life for residents.
There are two MAIN organisations : Brockwell Park Community Partners https://brockwellparkcommunitypartners.org.uk/celebrate Hertage Lottery for next phase plans to restore Brockwell Hall. The hall and landscaping of the park belong to a unified Heritage setting. They co-ordinate efforts regarding Heritage Lottery Funding and liaison with Lambeth Council and Parks Department. Friends of Brockwell Parkhttp://www.friendsofbrockwellpark.org , BLU Lido users, Whippersnappers, Community Greenhouseshttp://www.brockwellgreenhouses.org.uk/about/ , BMX track http://www.brixtonbmx.co.uk, Miniature railway organisation, Bowling club, Volley Ball, Tennis, St Matthew Football project among others all run independently some as social enterprises businesses but contribute to the park and our community in many ways.
New Ping Pong Club has formed as part of a free sport facilities run by volunteers on the site of the old Changing Rooms.
Music Arts Dance and Drama (MADD) help run some Community Events e.g.Dog Show. coming up in June. Volunteers always welcome to help set up and run these events.
